There are several kayak rentals in Cedar Key - our favorite is Lost Mangrove Outfitters down at the Marina next door to Island Hopper Boat Rentals. They boast some of the best kayaks available and a service to retrieve you if you get lost! And best of all - they're nice folks.If you want to bring your kayak - we have a nice sandy beach in Cedar Key for launching your kayak and we have kayak/canoe racks for storage while you visit.
